Spotify stopping after every song

Spotify stopping after every song

I am on the free plan and on an iPhone device, this has only been happening on my iPhone and not my computer nor tablet. (I don’t know if that helps but it’s extra info)

But Spotify keeps stopping after every single song ends and the little music tab that shows what you’re listening to at the bottom of your screen is disappeared. I try to press the button to listen to my music again but to no success. I’ve restarted my phone and closed the app so far no progress. The only thing that seems to work is uninstalling and reinstalling the app, yet it only works for a temporary amount of time.

If somebody could help that would be very much appreciated.

This type of issue, when the app works fine for some time after a reinstall, is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on your device. In this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a regular install and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

 

If the issue persists after this, check if your OS has any pending update that could be affecting the proper behavior of the app.

 

Lastly, include in your next response the OS version and the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
