Spotify won't play a specific song

"Spotify can't play this right now"

Spotify won't play this specific song on both my phone and MacBook. It isn't marked as explicit and I haven't hidden the song or blocked the artist. I also refreshed my Mac and it still didn't work. The other songs from that artist work fine. How do I fix this?

If the song is greyed out, it may not be available in your region - however I can check and confirm this. Can you share the link to the song you’re experiencing this on? You can share following these steps.

Hello Billy-J

I saw that you were willing to help a member with their question. So I hope you don't mind me asking you a question. 

I'm a casual Spotify user. Back in the 1970's there was a rock opera called "Truth of Truth's". I'd like to suggest that Spotify add that to their list of songs. But I am not finding a way to do that. Do you know how I would go about requesting Spotify add this music?

Thanks for your reply. I checked the song link and it seems to be available in Australia. Can you let me know if this issue occurs on a different device, like a mobile phone, if possible? If it plays there, then I’d recommend a clean reinstall of the app following these steps. Let me know how that goes.

Thanks for your post. I am able to check song availability, but there isn’t a way to request songs to be added to Spotify. Spotify wants all the world’s music and podcasts available, but availability can vary over time and between countries, depending on the permissions from rights holders.
