The content in New Releases

Hi!

I use Spotify in my daily work and regularly check out the New Releases page. I'm wondering if that page is beeing personalized by algorithms or more or less look the same for everyone?

I've been trying to figure this out for a while and been looking for answers online without luck. All I've noticed is that some releases stay on top for a longer time until I've listenened to them, but assume that has to to with special deals with labels since it's been major artists every time. Asside from that I'm in the dark and would love to be enlightened by Spotify or you wise users out there.

The new releases section is pretty much the same for everyone.

If you check out the "Discover" section, that is more personalized towards you.
