Why cant i play a playlist?

I have an android with a free account on Spotify and i realized today that it doesn't let me play any playlists or albums. I cant find the play button anywhere in playlists or albums. I can only play songs in the search.

I understand how confusing this can be. Spotify has made some recent changes for those who use the free account, especially on mobile phones. Now, in some albums and playlists, the "play" button may no longer appear as before - this is a limitation of the Free version.

But there are some ways to still be able to listen to your favorite songs:

If you look for a specific song in the magnifying glass, you can usually play it directly there.

The "Liked Songs" playlist also usually allows you to play the tracks individually.

And in the browser or computer, the limitations are usually minor.
