Why get premium if so many songs are not available in my country

can someone explain to me the logic behind artists who are known only in certain countries (say Sweden) and their content being mostly unavailable for foreign spotify users (I'm in Canada).  For instance, this song is likely available for everyone in sweden but not for me:

there are many examples like this which is why i cancelled my premium subscription. will this kidn of stuff ever change?
