"Couldn't load the lyrics for this song" error

As of version 8.8.20.544 and the version prior to that has caused the lyrics from my personal playlist in my device 'Samsung-SMJ250F' to disappear, at first I thought it was brcause the songs were old but way older songs still had lyrics
The playlist is a private playlist featuring all songs of 'DragonForce'
and after the update none of the songs had lyrics.

We add new content to Spotify every day, so if you can’t find something right now, it may appear (or reappear) soon.

Some songs show lyrics others even tho they also have lyrics, it just says "couldn't load lyrics"

Same for me!! I've always had the lyrics for songs up until yesterday.. Now the lyrics only show for like some songs.

same like everything was working fine until a few days ago.. I tried reinstalling spotify on BOTH my desktop and ios, i cleared cache, logged out, restarted. I tried everything but nothing works 😞

Hello, I would like to add that this is happening to a lot of us, in both Windows and Mac apps and Android as well. I noticed it last week. Songs from big artists are missing, like Taylor Swift, Coldplay... all songs that had lyrics before, so this is most likely a bug.

My Question or Issue

so i use spotify web player to listen to music, and this started happening probably 2 or 3 weeks ago? every time i try to look at the lyrics for a song, it says "You’ll have to guess the lyrics for this one." or "You caught us, we're still working on getting lyrics for this one.". most, if not all of the songs with this problem had lyrics before this started happening. i also noticed that it's only happening to songs by really popular artists, and ALL of their songs "have no lyrics". but the thing is, i listened to a song with an artist who has more monthly listeners than the artist in the image i provided, and their songs had lyrics.. so.. i genuinely don't know why this is happening? i've cleared cache, i've cleared cookies, i've closed and reopened the tab, i've refreshed the tab, i've logged out and then logged back in, i've signed out of all sessions, i've listened on a different browser, but none of these will help it! if it helps, i have 49 playlists, and i saw that having a lot of playlists can cause bugs on a website to help with the problem, but that was for the lyrics button not showing up at all. matter of fact, i can't find anyone else with this problem or recently. the last time i saw someone with this problem was 2021. i also think its my device? i checked on my old account to see if it would happen too and it still didn't have lyrics...

same issue here. i previously assumed this only happened with less popular, newer artists, but this is affecting half my playlist songs. started about a few days ago and has been affecting more since.

Same issue here, 7 months later!  Lyrics for The Beatles and Olivia Rodrigo won't work, and I just fixed my recently played not showing up.  It's pretty frustrating, good to know other people have this issue too and that my Spotify isn't just really messed up!

Lyrics are not showing in Spotify even if those songs contain lyrics. I have done ever tips that l found in Spotify community like logging out and logging in, reinstalling the app, I even have to off the offline mode and clearing the cache and also updated the app. But still every song l play the lyrics doesn't come. I am so sad that nothing worked. I request Spotify to kindly solve my issue as soon as possible from last week l just have not read any lyrics of my favourite songs and l feel so depressed. Honestly speaking Spotify is like my energy booster and if such lyrics issue will come then how l am gonna be happy. Please 🥺 solve my lyrics not showing issue.

When today I opened Spotify, this thing happened. There's no issue at all with lyrics previously. But suddenly now it's not loading. Back on day its worked perfectly for all songs,
