"Couldn't load the lyrics for this song" error

As of version 8.8.20.544 and the version prior to that has caused the lyrics from my personal playlist in my device 'Samsung-SMJ250F' to disappear, at first I thought it was brcause the songs were old but way older songs still had lyrics
The playlist is a private playlist featuring all songs of 'DragonForce'
and after the update none of the songs had lyrics.

Still occuring on 20/10/23, has been a problem for nearly a year now, it happens on artists who have enabled their lyrics.

but sir! there are no lyrics on almost every song! and it has been that way for a really long time. would be very much so appreciated by the whole community if you guys fixed this.

The lyrics aren't showing up i tried everything on YouTube and they aren't showing half of the songs that used to have lyrics don't anymore i just need a solution to it or I'm going onto another app

I think Spotify is going through some issues with their lyrics provider and only some artists have lyrics? It's complicated but I'm pretty sure Spotify is working on the issue

I am using the spotify website on my Macbook, but for some reason every single one of the songs I play do not show the lyrics and instead have the messages like 'hm, we don't know the lyrics for this one' or 'you'l have to guess the lyrics for this one'. However, in the past, the songs did have lyrics when I listened to them so it is definitely not because they don't have lyrics supplied.

lyrics won't load but only for a specific artist, beabadoobee. lyrics load for other songs except for her songs, not sure what to do or how to fix it

Most of the songs which previously shown the lyrics are not able to show it anymore.

I went to use the lyrics feature and its saying you don't have any but I saw them before of lots of songs and none of those has them now. What gives?

None of the previous lyrics that were there before are there now. it isn't a case of one or two songs but the whole library.

A lot of the songs that previously had synced lyrics are not shown now and it says that hmm.. it seems we don't have the lyrics or something. A lot of the songs that i frequently listened to and sung while looking at the lyrics don't have the lyrics anymore which is killing the vibe. Did Spotify purposefully remove the lyrics or is it just a technical problem or a bug?? Please answer ASAP.

In some songs I can see the lyrics but most of them say "Couldn't load lyrics for this song" and it's going on since last month. Please fix this

Alot of the songs in my play list do not have the lyrics. Alot of the songs are popular/ well known such as the songs Knockin' On Heaven's Door by Guns N' Roses, Wild Thing by The Troggs and In the Ghetto by Elvis Presley for example. It says Hmm. We don't know the lyrics for this one, or, You caught us, were still working on getting lyrics. It would be great if there was an option for us to submit lyrics. I know I myself would love to submit lyrics to a song that doesn't have them. If there are lyrics to a song then that song doesn't need an add lyrics option. Surely your technicians/developers can add an add lyrics option to those songs that don't have lyrics? Maybe with along with the message of not having the lyrics or still working on them you could have a submit button along with that message? That way songs with lyrics won't have the option, only ones with the message. It would be great to have alot more of my saved songs having lyrics.

ok ive been having this problem for about 2 months now, this started at late summer. first, every tyler, the creator songs (including songs featuring tyler) all had their lyrics missing. this was only for tyler songs. now today, like 90% of my playlists songs have lyrics that are not showing. i have tried literally everything from logging in and out, following youtube videos, etc. whatever spotify did, it messed up all of my playlists. PLEASE FIX THIS, I’M NOT WAITING ANY LONGER!

Still an issue, I noticed songs that had lyrics before, still have the lyrics box and says gives a couldn't load text in the box. Songs that don't have lyrics added would not have the box in general, typically for new artist as I like to try and find new songs and upcoming artist. But when I listen to older songs that had lyrics now, I've been noticing more and more are not loading the lyrics even though the box for the lyrics is still there. It's sad, even if it's not an actual bug/issue and more of a legal thing 😞

I have a problem when I want to see the lyrics from music for example the music or not the weekend and meet us and Paris and in Costa Rica also I can't see lady from the music

When I look for lyrics on my iPad or phone they don’t show up. It just says “couldn’t load lyrics for this song”. I know the song has lyrics because have seen it before.

around 99% of the songs i go to check are now missing lyrics, and this is including songs that previously had lyrics before

Most K-pop songs had lyrics at first, now they are missing, and it's really sad!! I can not understand without the lyrics, please Spotify, bring them back! Thank you~ 🎵
