"Couldn't load the lyrics for this song" error

As of version 8.8.20.544 and the version prior to that has caused the lyrics from my personal playlist in my device 'Samsung-SMJ250F' to disappear, at first I thought it was brcause the songs were old but way older songs still had lyrics
The playlist is a private playlist featuring all songs of 'DragonForce'
and after the update none of the songs had lyrics.

Spotify doesnt have lyrics i tried both the app and web player it's siad "you caught us we're still working on getting lyrics on this one"  even tho there was the lyrics before

I don't know if it's just me, but the lyrics feature has not been functioning as well as it used to. Why is Spotify partnering with Musixmatch for their lyrics instead of Genius or some other more well-known platform? More than half the time when I try to pull up the lyrics on desktop, there are none available, even when I am looking at highly popular mainstream music. I love the real-time lyrics feature, or even just asynchronous lyrics, but they don't seem to be available consistently.

Lyrics that were once available for songs have suddenly vanished without explanation. Not that the lyric button is missing, it's like they were never written, and its quite inconsistent as well with which songs this problem affects. I have tried deleting the app, clearing cache, logging out, yet nothing changed. Also present across different devices.

So, this issue has been ongoing for months now, and I am aware I'm not the only one experiencing it. I have recently cancelled my Spotify premium subscription and my perks ran out yesterday. Before I purchased premium, I noticed popular songs I knew had lyrics before were no longer loading lyrics. I figured this was a bug and would be resolved soon. After I purchased premium, the lyrics were back to normal and I assumed the bug was fixed and that it had nothing to do with my premium purchase. Now that my perks have ran out, the lyrics are missing again. I've seen a multitude of other people post about this same issue on other social media platforms. I checked to see if Spotify updated their terms on what features free users have, but found nothing. It mentions nothing about being unable to access the lyrics feature or having the feature limited. This is not the first time Spotify has proved greedy and treated free users unfairly, but it is just as disappointing every time. I hope this is resolved eventually. This is truly making it difficult to stay loyal to the platform and I know others feel the same.

Same over here for other artists. I confirmed and they are indeed on Musixmatch and I can check since I'm a collaborator.

Taylor Swift's albums Reputation, Folklore and Evermore's all the songs and Olivia Rodrigo's Sour and GUTS are facing the same problem

I don't have lyrics in almost every single popular song from artist like The Weeknd or Taylor swift. It's been almost 3 months of this issue. Is there anything i can do to get rid of it?

Before the update lyrics worked just fine but now it shows 'couldnt load the lyrics for this song'.
Please work on this, I feel this affects the user experience

Same here. Doesn't matter which platform, it happens to the web player and app version for me. I have contacted live support but they were not able to solve the issue as well. What an annoying issue 😞

I am positive that before I could see almost all my songs lyrics but now all it says is “sorry can’t load song lyrics” so whenever I hear a part I want to see or share I can’t because it always say that it won’t load can you fix this immediately. It is getting very annoying to have you advertise a feature and just not have it available.

i have not had lyrics to any of my songs at all

i have tried everything and every method possible

i have also contacted spotify but their methods didnt work

Lyrics in most songs have disappeared for me, It started some weeks ago, and every time I try to access the lyrics I get a message like the following "You caught us, We're still working on this one." or "Hmm. We don't know the lyrics for this one.", I just wish that I could get the lyrics back, thank you!

When I tried to look for the lyrics on other account it's exist, but not on my main account.

There is a band called Train. They got some songs transcribed to lyrics on MusixMatch.

BUT there is no lyrics in spotify.

Question is - What can I do to fix that? Should I write to MusixMatch or Spotify or Both and where? And how can I make adressing this appeals As Easy As Possibe? May be some report flag button and that's all? I really would love to have such ability to improve service that I pay for (lyrics).

there are so many songs for me like the song Those Eyes from New West lyrics are completely gone T-T
