I can't reproduce this crash by clicking view account in the settings view. A browser window opens for me. Does it do that for you too when it does not crash?

Looking at the logs, I see:

[xcb] Unknown sequence number while processing queue
[xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called
[xcb] Aborting, sorry about that.

I see a similar message, when I try to copy/paste anything in the search bar. We are probably calling X related functions from the wrong thread.

It happens only sometimes. It's easier to reproduce when clicking "view account" right after having started the spotify client. That smells "timing" and so probably threading related indeed

BTW, in the meanwhile I've update to the latest "testing" build available on ubuntu: 1.0.33.106.g60b5d1f0
