Fonts, images, icons problem in linux client

Fonts, images, icons problem in linux client

Hi

I've updated the linux client to latest version.

I have an Elementary OS luna installation (Ubuntu 12.04 equivalent) and now I'm facing some visual problems:

I can't see some images, icons, album covers, artists. I think some icons are font-icons which are not loading...

Please have a look:

Font problems

Is there any way to solve this? Maybe by installing some font?

And what about the images not loading?

I'm behind a proxy but before this version everything was working fine

Thanks

Hi there,

Welcome at the Spotify Community!

I'm sorry to hear Spotify isn't working properly for you.

Have you already tried to disable your proxy? Maybe it blocks something, or it just slows everything down.

Otherwise, have you already tried to logout and login afterwards? Sometimes something simple as this already fixes the problem.

If the above things don't help to fix the problems, then you may also try to fix it by reinstalling Spotify. To do that, please follow the steps in the link below:

Hey Michael

If I disable the proxy, nothing works. It is a corporative govt. proxy with thousands of clients and the only way to have internet is by using it

However, I have not yet tried to logout and login again, and in case that doesn't work, I'll try by reinstalling it

Thanks
