How to configure wine for Spotiamb's Shoutcast server

I'm unable to use the shoutcast server built into Spotiamb under Ubuntu.

Local playback works fine thanks to this post: http://spotiamb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=12

But when I enable the shoutcast server, I get the well known pop-up "There was a problem starting the MP3 codec..." as soon as a client connects. The guide (http://spotiamb.com/mp3guide.html) works fine under Windows but I have no idea what needs to done to wine.

My setup

* Spotiamb 0.2.1

* Ubuntu Server 14.04 (with ubuntu-desktop --no-install-recommends)

* wine1.7.

I was able to solve it using the instructions provided here: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=20001&iTestingId=53488

In addition I had to copy l3codecp.acm to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/winemp3.acm

It might make more sense to set up Mopidy + IceCast if what you want is a ShoutCast server for Spotify running on Linux.

https://docs.mopidy.com/en/latest/

I considered that, but I need Spotify Connect to remote control Spotiamb.

I'm getting the same exact "MP3 codec" error on Windows and that spotiamb.com website and help files appear to be down.

Could you share or offer suggestions how I might fix this on Windows?

Thanks! I'll give that a try.
