How to enqueue a whole album/playlist?

Solved!

How to enqueue a whole album/playlist?

Hey,

seems like there is no way to enqueue a whole album or playlist? I'm using the Linux Desktop client, and it seems there is only an option to play the album.

Usually I have a song playing that I want to finish playing, and then have a certain playlist play next.

Currently I have to wait until the current song has finished, and then manually start the playlist, which is kind of cumbersome.

Could you offer something please? 🙂 For example "STRG + Click=Enqueue"? Or an extra menu item?

Not sure, though, if enqueuing a playlist or whole album should empty the queue first, and then add the selected list/album, or if it should be added like individual files.

How about two menu items? "Enqueue" and "Make this current playlist", where the latter replaces the current queue, but lets the current song finish?

Sorry, but this is not possible right now.

A workaround would be to select all the songs in the playlist (CTRL + A) for windows or (CMD + A) for mac

and right click -- Queue   to queue all the songs

Hello and welcome to the Spotify Community!

Well can you please try if this works for you?

1. create a new playlist and drop only one song into it

2. if you want to unque, just open this playlist and this song

3. does this solve your problem? 😄

Kind regards,

Hey man,

thank you very much for your reply!

Unfortunately, this does not solve my problem 😉

What I described is that while I'm listening to a song, I want to enqueue a whole playlist (with many songs), but without interrupting the current song.

Seems that this is not possible...?

Hey,

thanks, that's a solution for the current situation, I guess. I didn't know you could use ctrl+A, great.

Anyway, would be good if an "enqueue all" option would be implemented, especially something like "CTRL + click on play", as you then could already enqueue a whole album on the lists of search results (rather than opening the album, ctrl+a, enqueue).

You're welcome! 😃
