How to hide "friend actvity" column

Hello.
Is there any way to hide the right column? I don't plan to connect facebook and it takes quite some space. I would like to have pretty much the same view I have in spotify web.

Spotify premium, linux desktop app.

Hi, you should go to the right upper corner where you see your profile picture and username. click on the small pointing arrow and go to settings. scroll down till u reach the section of “socials” and there should be the option to disable the friend activity column
