My Question or Issue

I have spotify running on my desktop PC under Linux Debian 9, and since Thursday 4/7, I can't connect anymore to it via my phone or other desktop PC with Windows. It shows up in the spotify connect available devices, but each time I click on it it remains grey and show a message "spotify is not active on this device". I basically changed nothing on my end, hence I'm reporting the issue.

Contacted spotify here: https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-privacy/

It appeared that my account was corrupted. The support team had to create a new account and transfer all my settings from the corrupted account. Then all worked fine.
