Spotify in Linux Ubuntu - Unable to Log-in

I'm using the most recent release of Linux Ubuntu and I am unable to log into my Spotify Account via Facebook.

Is there a way I can access my account without having to create a new one? I have like 6 years of Music on that account and my Spotify Premium, I'd prefer to not have to create another account just because I shifted to Linux.

this is a problem with how they packaged the software as snap app, not a log in problem.
