My Question or Issue

Installation like offered on homepage:

https://support.spotify.com/de/

curl -sS https://download.spotify.com/debian/pubkey_0D811D58.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
echo "deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/spotify.list

Spotify starts with so small letters, before this installation I could scale the window with the hints at: https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Spotify/

Now I tried:

sudo gedit /usr/share/spotify/spotify.desktop

Exec=spotify --force-device-scale-factor=2.0 %U

This doesn't work, and the support team of spotify won't help, that's not nice, because I pay for spotify every month.

Hey @speedy-21

Could you try if hitting Ctrl and + with Spotify active change anything for the better for you?
Ctrl and - should zoom out, the other one zooms in.

Also, try that command without the %0 part to see if it works, keep it like that:

--force-device-scale-factor=2

Let me know how you get on 🙂

Thanks, crtl + + worked, the command doesn't, but it isn't neccessary anymore.
