Usually if a song is not available it does not show but now they are sometimes showing in the search but come up as not available when you try playing them.
In the UK,
Ting Tings | Wrong Club | 1 | 09/06/2014 |
spotify:track:22Py9sbBZDLtFTjaTbcwK3 |
Having said that, this track has a release date of 28th July on iTunes so hardly surprising it isn't available on 9th June. What is it doing there though, and why does it come up as Ting Tings latest song in the search?
I'm also finding that Ed Sheeran's UK #1 hit "Sing" is coming up as the 2nd most popular of all his songs but not playable even though it isn't greyed.
Ok, I might have considered putting it on my playlist but obviously he thinks I'm going to run to iTunes and buy it. Well I'm not, I simply won't playlist it.

Both tracks play for me (UK).
So why are both coming up as "not available" when I try playing them?

Yes it definitely is.
I also have a developer licence and I use this to connect via Linux from where I build up my playlists. Ting Tings showed up in it.
I will try from my phone device to see if those play.
- Yes both of them do.
So why not from Windows? (I might have Tor running somewhere on my computer, let me check).
I restarted spotify and now they are both available.
I have no idea what happened.
