Add a source (album bought from Itunes) not working - Mac OXS

Hi Community 🙂

An album is not available in France, so I wanted to add it as a source - local file - and I bought the album via Itunes.

I don't get why I can't now add it, it's grey. (I converted the file .mpa to .mp3 but it is not working).

What can I do?

I would like to add that I also have a Canadian account, the album is available there but I can't add any music as well, even though there were bought legally from iTunes or Motion Array.

Hi Caroline,

I think you must select the folder containing the music, not the music files. I've just tried it on my iMac and it works just fine. Adding ~/Music/iTunes did the trick.

No worry & Help arrived!
I'd recommend the following procedure:

Firstly, add source from Music in Spotify Setting.
Secondly, reopen the Spotify app.
Finally, you can play the music or feel free to add it into a playlist.

Please let me know if you have any question.
