Can't change playlist cover image

My Question or Issue

I want to change playlist cover image to the custom one but when hovering over playlist cover image in the desktop app 'edit' icon no longer appears

It's a new update Spotify rolled out and despite complaints in every subtopic in the community forum, they keep giving stock answers and not really doing anything about how the new UI affects their paying customers. You'll see you can't add a description either, and there are a few other issues with playback and customization.

You can vote for this idea, asking for a way to switch back between the old desktop version and this new one that looks like the web player.
