Media Buttons not working (Mac)

Media buttons stopped working. I have restarted and reinstalled the app for my mac.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out 🙂

Could you make sure that other media apps, such as iTunes or VLC, are not running in the background, and that you don't have Google Play in Chrome (or any other media plugin)? These can sometimes interfere with and block the media buttons.

I have none of those open.

Only programs open are Chrome with no music and imessages.

It seems that both your Spotify app and your OS need updating. Would you mind doing that and letting us know if the issue is resolved?
