Music doesn't play after disconnecting from Echo Dot

My Question or Issue

So when I play music through my Echo, it works fine. However, when I try to play music through my computer with my AirPods, it doesn't play anything (nothing is/was on mute lol) and I get that blue banner telling me that Spotify can't play this song right now. I have no idea why this is happening, it cannot be the WiFi because if my Echo can play the song then why can't my Mac and it can't be the device itself because if I force-quit Spotify on my Mac and relaunch it, everything works like normal. Does anyone have any ideas?

P.S. This issue has happened even without having AirPods in so I don't think its that either.
