No Facebook Friends

Description

Facebook friends won't load. It's says "There are no more people to show at this time.", however, it has never showed me anyone. I know of at least 30 of my friends that are on Spotify.

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. First I downloaded Spotify.

2. Then I saw that FB friends weren't showing, so I looked up solutions.

3. I am logged in with Facebook, so I know I'm connected. Checked the rest of my settings.

4. then I uninstalled Spotify and reinstalled it.

5. then opened it -- and there was no change.

6. and finally, two weeks later, I even upgraded to the newest version. STILL NO CHANGE.

What I expected to happen

I expected Spotify to work as described.

What actually happened

Facebook friends doesn't work (follow).

I used this method, except for I just logged in NOT using the facebook method and it worked. It automatically syned back up with Facebook.

I have a Facebook account on Spotify (no dedicated login, only via Facebook) and my friends do not show up. I am following two of them, that's being displayed, but cannot find new ones. I deleted the app from Facebook and re-added it without any luck.

// Update: I logged in via Android, Facebook App asked me if I grant access to friends etc. It only asked for "post" rights when logging in via Windows app. Solved it for me, I can now access friend list in the windows app.

...which is not possible if fb account credentials were used to activate your Spotify account

Hello... I am having the same issue. I am a new Spotify subscriber and I am loving it, but  I really want to see my Facebook friends on Spotify and what they're listening to. 

I did all the suggested steps that resolved some people's issue, but they don't work for me. 

I logged out of Spotify, removed Spotify from my Facebook Apps, and logged back in on Spotify using my Spotify credentials and connected to Facebook, but sI still can't load up my friends list when I click the "Fiend Friends" button in the Friend activity section of Spotify. 

Please, help.

If you open Facebook on desktop and head to Settings > Apps > Spotify, you can check to make sure the ‘Friend List’ is ticked.

i still cant see my facebook friends

Hey guys,

My friends feed isn't working anymore. It only giving me the option to add people, not see the existing people I was following. None of the friends I was following before are on the follow list. Not sure what happened? It was working before.

Fixed now. I had to click View and Un-tick Right Sidebar and then tick it again and it refreshed to show my friends feed again.
