Please improve the video player

The video player is filled with bugs. It often doesn't remember where I left off, and worse: intermittently loses video. Meaning the audio will still work but the video screen is suddenly black.

Once it loses video there is almost no way to get it back. I tried playing different videos, restarting the app, and clicking on different sizes of the video player. I ultimately had to connect with an agent who showed me how to clear the cache (which was a long process in itself).

I don't understand how Spotify can own a monopoly over the world's most popular podcast and have a broken video player. Please fix!!!!
