Shuffle Doesn't Work on Mac

I have Spotify AND Sonos and on neither, when I try and shuffle my entire library playlist, the shuffle doesn't work.  It doesn't even give me the option on Spotify.  It tends to pick 2 or 3 albums and only shuffles from those albums.  I DO NOT have this problem on my iphone, just on my laptop.  Are there any fixes for this?
