Songs beginning 15 seconds in and overlapping each other

I have been having an issue with all of my playlists where each song will start at least 15 seconds in after the previous song ends. Also, when I skip a song, it will still be playing along with the new song (with the new song starting 15 seconds in). This continues until I pause and hit play again.

I have tried restarting my computer and re-downloading the app, but the problem keeps happening. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you checked your playback settings, you may have a 15 second crossfade on.

No that isn't on. I tried turning it on and off just now and that didn't do anything.
