Songs don't play on my Mac

Songs don't play on my Mac

My Spotify on my Macbook Pro will NOT play any songs!! Whether its from my playlist or a song/album i've tried to look up!!  (Photos below) my songs on my playlist also dont show up even though i have them on my phone!! Please help!!

What steps I've tried already:

  1. Click Spotify in the menu bar then Quit Spotify.
  2. Open Finder then click Go > Library in the menu bar. (You may need to hold the Alt key if Library isn’t visible).
  3. Open Caches and delete the com.spotify.Client folder.
  4. Click the back arrow.
  5. Open Application Support and delete the Spotify folder.
  6. Download and install Spotify!

ABOVE DID NOT WORK FOR ME

I've also tried restarting my macbook many times, and redownload spotify

ive tried using my boyfriends account, still would not play. 

I've tried adjusting all the settings to general, still would not play

Hi there!

Could you try using Sign Out Everywhere and Remove Offline devices options from your Spotify account?

 

If that didn't help could you follow this Spotify Answer?

 

Then try to reinstall again. Just follow these steps.

Unfortunately I'm still having the same problem, even if i follow everything step by step 😞

Could you give that a try on another user account in your Mac?

 

Also, does this happen if you try from the web player?
