Sound is quieter only when playing Spotify

Whether I'm listening to external speakers or my headphones, music through Spotify on my MacBook air is significantly quieter than other sounds. I can listen to YouTube or other videos perfectly with volume and sound working perfectly, but listening to Spotify requires my volume all the way up to hear at a normal volume.

Hi Allie!

There's a volume slider on the bottom right of the Spotify App, can you check if it's at it's maximum? It might be the solution.

Im also having the same issue on win10, tried to get a solution few months back, couldnt find one, I guess theres nothing to do with it.

Hi Marchizor,
well, I wanted to check that first because it has happended to me (: You other suggestion was my second choice, sometime the volume level option messes up the general volume, so thanks for your help!
