Spotify no longer has the "cmd+f" function when viewing playlists on latest update

Spotify no longer has the "cmd+f" function when viewing playlists on latest update

I have a playlist with over 3000 songs, and always used the cmd+f function. It seems to be gone in 1.0.1.1060.gc75ebdfd. Did they get rid of it? This essentially breaks Spotify for me.

This feature will be coming back in a future update.

Why would they remove such a basic and useful function in the first place.  Thats the question.

I'm unmarking MattSuda's answer as a solution. That's not a solution. It's unverified information.

Good point!

A solution would be either to have it put back in, or something that would replace the function.

I don't want to go on too much of a tangent.  But, this kind of stuff, makes me question using Spotify.  I have been using it for years(and am now a Premium subscriber...as um...my task bar tells me 24/7), but I am wondering if I'm putting all my eggs in one basket.  There is no way of putting off upgrading, or a way to retrograde....you are just forced to eat what they serve.  I have all my playlists and favorite music here, organized the way I like, with no way of taking it out if I would ever need to.

Anyway....a little rant I guess 🙂

I hope they fix this, and stop with the habbit of removing/breaking useful features.

Then why don't you guys just roll back to the previous, functional update instead of screwing the customers over with one that doesn't include the features that were present before? It's inconsiderate of the people who take the time to use this service and shows a complete lack of concern for the users of this software, especially ones who pay.

Been waiting for this to come back for so long i'm pretty close to cancelling my paid membership.

U know what. screw this. I'm out. I'll renew if and when this comes back...

ey, why gettin' rid of it in the first place?

Somthing new about this missing feature?
