Spotify won't connect to wifi

Problem

I have spotify downloaded the app onto my macbook air however today it wont connect to wifi when the wifi is on and working fine for everything else, HELP!!! comes up with error code:4

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps. Let me know how it goes 🙂

My spotify wasn't connecting to wifi, I was about to uninstall and reinstall then stumbled upon...There is an "offline mode" option that I didn't know was turned on. Access it on MacOS from the Spotify menu its the 4th option in the menu.
