The "I don't like [artist]" feature for Spotify generated playlists stopped working a while ago

My Question or Issue
As stated in subject. This feature has not worked for weeks now on playlists like Release Radar. The artists (CHVRCHES, Quantic, Prince - still great acts but dominate this playlist too much in my case) always come back week after week after week. As an additional clue, when you select this option, the song greys out but continues to play when it used to skip to the next track. If you click next track, it skips over the next track to the one after. I don't believe this is associated with Big Sur, but it's possible.

In this case, we recommend running a clean reinstall of the app by following these steps. This can be helpful to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.
