My Question or Issue

Hi,

I'm having an issue regarding using the Touch Bar on my 2019 MacBook Pro to control my Sonos speaker on the Spotify app.

When using the main volume control in-app, the volume slider reflects the correct volume of the device, however when I attempt to use the volume slider on the Touch Bar to control this it defaults to 100% volume which causes the Sonos speaker to change the volume to this and become far too loud.

Could this be looked into?

Thanks

Update to this one:

I've reinstalled the app and it no longer has this problem, however it no longer allows me to control the volume of the speaker at all. Which is better than it blaring out but still broken!

Hey @halfpennymcfc, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

Could you try the following steps:

- Reinstall the Sonos app

- Factory reset the Sonos speaker and check if the latest firmware is installed

- Reinstall the Spotify app one more time

The user may now set everything back up. Steps on how to do this can be found here.

Hope this helps 🙂
