Unable to log into Spotify App Mac OS 10.14.6 (Mojave)

My Question or Issue

I finally fixed my old power mac, the spotify app on the machine runs fine but it will not let me log in. It tells me that I have a Uswername or password error code: auth: 2.

 

I Reset the password... but that did not fix the problem.  Can you help me figure out why?  Thanks

Are you able to log in to your account on another device? If so, it might be that the OS version you're running is no longer officially supported, I'm afraid. I'd recommend using the Web Player on your Mac instead.
