My Question or Issue
As you can see the images, a cover of the songs is not displayed. I tried restarting the program, uninstalling and installing again, and the problem persists. What happened?

My Question or Issue
My player (on Windows 10) is now exhibiting the missing album cover window problem first reported back in March or April. Here's a screen shot from a prior (now closed to comments) post: (https://community.spotify.com/t5/Desktop-Mac/album-cover-window-missing/m-p/4723119/highlight/true#M...)
Expected Behavior
Useful features should never disappear. This has been a problem with Spotify in the past. If they need to be reworked, please complete the rework prior to removing the existing feature. I can find no way to watch album covers while tracks play in the official player anymore.
This is a very frustrating thing for your loyal, paying customers. It has been better, lately. It needs to stop.
Hey @fernandofabris.
Thanks for getting in touch!
It looks like the image is gone indeed. Does this happen on any network?
Try reinstalling the app using these instructions which are a bit more thorough.
If you could also try out an account from a friend or family member to see if the same things happens, that would help us to look further into solving this issue.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to your reply.
Have a nice day!
Hey @SeonaidDubh.
We've merged your topic with a topic from another user that was experiencing the same issue. Could you try out what I wrote above to see if that solves the issue? Looking forward to your reply.
Have a nice day.
Good Morning.
I reinstalled the app using the instructions you suggested but the problem persists. I logged in using another account and it worked. Only in my account does this problem occur.
I received an update today (1.1.10.540) and the issue persisted.
Reading your thread above, I logged out and logged in with the account of another family member. That account DOES see the album covers correctly. Logging them out andy myself back in did NOT fix the issue for me, however.
I then followed the uninstall directions you mentioned. This DID resolve the issue for my account.
Thank you for your patience. I'm glad this was just a quirk on my end. Love the update with the hearts finally replacing the pluses in playlists on the PC.
Hi @SeonaidDubh,
Nice to hear it got fixed.
@fernandofabris, could you try the same steps to see if it helps for you?
Looking forward to your reply.
Have a nice day.
@Guido I tried. I uninstalled as instructed but the problem persists.
I can try to uninstall it one more time.
Hi @Guido, magically the covers came back before I tried to reinstall. This morning they were not there but now they are displayed. I did not understand what happened.
