"Can't Play Current Song" Every time i open my laptop

"Can't Play Current Song" Every time i open my laptop

I have the Spotify desktop app on my macbook, and I have a paid premium account and am also on wifi. Every time I open my laptop, and go to play music, I get the error saying I can't play this song for every song in my library. This error goes away when I restart the app, but I was wondering if there was any longer-term solution.

Hello!

 

You should try to update the app. If it is already in the latest version you should try to uninstall the app and reinstall it here.

Hope you're doing great!

If the @Jesusvm_06 suggestions don't do the trick first make sure that you're on macOS Mojave 10.14.6 as it is the latest stable version of macOS currently available.

 

If it still isn't working, check the steps from this Spotify Answer to see if that makes any difference.
