"Something went wrong" error on desktop app and web player for Turkish users

We're receiving reports from users in Turkey that they’re encountering an error on the desktop app and web player.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! Just make sure you're not using a VPN and your app is updated to the latest version.

The same goes for me too. It just doesn't load the pages but plays the song and their videos...

My Question or Issue

Both my machines (Mac and Windows) are returning "Something went wrong, try reloading the page" error in the middle part of the app. Mobile app works fine.  I can still play music and see the album/artist info.

Steps i've taken to resolve the issue:
1. Reinstalled Spotify (and removed all cache/temp/local files)
2. Turned on VPN to check if it's a regional issue
3. Uninstalled VPN
4. Turned off Firewall
5. Flushed DNS
6. Tried connecting to the mobile hotspot

Same, also in TR, resetting network, allowing through firewall and redownloading did not work.

I encountered the same problem and Twitter's support team was ineffective

 

They told me to avoid using VPN, and when I logged out of my account on the web version, the functionality of the homepage was normal

 

I think Spotify itself has some issues with denying user access

I encountered the same issue on my Windows device, and the Twitter team advised me to turn off VPN

When I logged out of my account, the web version of Spotify seemed to be functioning properly

Hi! Thanks for helping. I've tried that already, didn't work. Relogging, uninstalling, clearing cache didn't help.

I'm in Turkey too and I have the exact problem. Nothing seems to be working 😞

I'm having the same problem on windows. There seems to be no problem on Android. For now, I can select song lists from my phone and listen to them on my PC. Btw I'm in Turkey too
