Album and artist art/pictures are blank

Recently, my Spotify desktop app has been showing artists and album pictures blank or broken. I've tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app and it did not solve this issue. Anyone have any ideas? I have a premium account and am listening on Windows 7 Desktop. I have no issues listening on my Andriod app. Thanks.

Sorry to hear you're having an issue.

Can you please try uninstalling the app completly and then download this Microsoft version of Spotify to see if it solves the issue ?

Thank you for your reply, @OneByBoo. Unfortunately, I will not be able to run that version of Spotify as the system requirements are Windows 10 and I am currently running Windows 7.
