My Question or Issue
On my way to work I was listening to music on Spotify and liking new songs. About 3 or 4 hours later I opened up my desktop client. I noticed that the newly liked songs were not synced. When I used the desktop version to remove a song from the playlist that way played on my phone at the same time, I noticed that the sync happened within seconds. The same happened when I test-liked a different song on my mobile. The phone has been online since I left my house. Why have the liked songs from the morning not been synced? I am afraid to loose newly liked songs this way ....

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.
We recommend you log out everywhere and run a clean reinstall on all your devices, this involves deleting the cache files of the app and will force a account wide resynchronization of your info. You can have a look at this guide for the steps relevant to each device.
That way any changes you make to your library on one device should appear right away on the other.
