[BUG] Spotify auto starts with windows, though I disabled this feature

My Question or Issue

Since the Last update spotify chsnged my settings and starts automatically everytime windows boots. That makes windows slower on start witch is not desired.

The problem stems from Spotify defaulting to start with Windows. As per the linked thread, I've found this aspect of its configuration resets itself to the default whenever the app was updated.

More recently I've found the setting is not honoured at all, and the cynic in me won't be holding out for a fix. Judging by responses here and elsewhere, I'm not alone in finding this behaviour undesirable and shady.
