Bluetooth headphones control overriden by web browser

My Question or Issue

I can't control spotify through my headphones, when I have some youtube video open. Whatever I do with the headphones' touch panel gets sent to the web browser instead. Commands from keyboard multimedia keys get sent to both spotify and web browser (not ideal either).

Is there a way to tell windows to prioritize spotify, or ignore the web browser?

Okay, solved by disabling

For anyone looking for the setting in Firefox:
1. open settings
2. uncheck `Control media via keyboard, headset, or virtual interface`
