My Question or Issue

Everytime I try to login in the Spotify web player on my main PC an error pops up with the message "Something went wrong. Try reloading the page." Reloading the page gives me the same error; deleting cookies and logging back in doesn't work either.

I can login in the desktop app but all my playlists and my liked songs are empty and I can't see the albums and the artists I follow anymore.

The same Spotify account works fine on other devices such as my laptop and my Android phone, connected on the same network, and there's no problem with my songs with the aforementioned devices.

Hey @Matt1-3

Welcome to the Community, thanks for reaching out about this.

We'd first recommend giving these steps a try, in order to check your host files.

You can also disable hardware acceleration by clicking the three-dot menu on the top left of the app > select View > uncheck Hardware Acceleration > Restart Spotify.

If this doesn't work, you can try a clean reinstall of the desktop app to clear any cache that might be causing the issue. This is different than simply reinstalling.

Lastly, in case you're still having issues with the web player, we'd recommend taking a look at the supported browsers and other useful tips that you'll find here.

Let us know how it goes. We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
