Browse/Discover not working

Browse/Discover not working

I have been an “old version – v09.15.27” daily Spotify Unlimited client for the past few years. I use it as a drumming play-along program on my Win7 laptop; because of this, the old version works much better for me.

 

Problem is the “Browse” option has stopped working. If I click on “Discover”, the screen flashes a few times, then nothing displays. If I click on any other Browse option after that (Overview, News, etc.), nothing happens – it’s like Browse has frozen. All other options (playlists, search, etc.) work fine. However, I miss the Discover.

 

I have tried this on three different computers (Win7, 8.1, & 10). I have uninstalled/reinstalled on each a few times including the new version and old version. The new version is working fine albeit not the way I like – I miss the old version. Any suggestions?
