Can I set Google Home device as default player?

My Question or Issue

Is there a way to set my Google Home device (group) as the default player so when I start Spotify, it connects and goes there by default?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. 

Unfortunately, you cannot set a Google Home speaker as a default player yet. However you can use voice commands to control what plays with Google Home and Google Nest if you have your account linked. You can check how to link your account here.
