Can't I search a genre on desktop app like mobile does?

My Question or Issue

If I search a genre on mobile app, i can immediatly see the link to the specific genre page. (ex. If I search "disney" on mobile, i can see disney genre page on top of the result)

But if i search the genre on the pc, it still shows something related to my search terms, but doesn't show up with specific genre page i've searched for. 

Is this a feature not available on desktop app right now?

 

I use this to get to the genre page that i cannot find on "browse all".

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

 

Search results in the different apps might differ in different regions, since there is a difference in the availability of content. 

 

As the Desktop app, was only recently launched in South Korea, it might take some time for the catalogue to be fully populated.

 

We tried reproducing this on our end, but when we search for Disney, the genre emerges in the very top of the page. In your case, you can try scrolling down, as Genres are usually at the bottom of the list.

 

Let us know if you can see the Genres at the bottom of the Search results.

There's no Genres section at search result.

 

All sections i get is 

Top result/Songs/Artists/Albums/Playlists.

There's no genre emerging at the bottom.

 

And i guess it's regional issue because genre showed up when i tried with test account provided by advisor from support, which region was set to UK. 

After two hours explaining my problem to customer support he escalated to another team and i explained again and he gave tech team information and he told me he'll reply when he gets response from tech team.

Uhhh I'm suffering- so much missing features for South Korea with the similar price to USA 😂

 

P.S. Also customer support makes me suffer too

Sorry to hear that you've had an unpleasant experience speaking to the customer support team.

 

Like they've informed you it's most likely a regional issue than a technical issue with your app.

 

When they get a definite response from the tech team they'll get back to you.
