Can't access to local album from local files on free desktop version.

Solved!

Can't access to local album from local files on free desktop version.

I switched from Groovy to Spotify because of the track cover art not displaying correctly in Groovy.
I have around 300 mp3 files added as local files in the free desktop version of spotify. UX seems to be really cool but i can't filter my local files by album name (Even Groovy support that) and it upsets me a lot, I can play every local files in loop but all of my custom metadatas (like album name) is useless as Spotify doesn't seems to let me filter my files with.

Is there any answers I didn't see ?

Hey @LeRouxNard,

Thanks for your reply in this thread and welcome.

You can use the sort and filter function to organize your Local files by Title, Artist, Album, Duration or Date added. It's also possible to add them to playlists in the order you prefer. You can read how to do it in this article.

On another note,  we'd like to share with you that another user had a similar idea about this and posted here. Even though the status is set as Case Closed, it doesn't mean the idea has been rejected.
