Hey there @C0ZM,

Thanks for posting on the Community!

Just to confirm, what happens after you try to add the song using the desktop app? For example, are you receiving any error messages? Or the won't song appear on the mobile app?

If possible, feel free to send us a video showing how things look from your end, so that we have a look as well.

Also, keep in mind that you might need to log out and back in again, as this should resync your account info and make sure the newly added songs appear when they've been added through different devices.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers!

I click the add to playlist icon, and a pop-up appears saying, "Added to Liked Songs", but it does not actually add the song to liked songs.

Hey @C0ZM,

Thanks for the video recording!
We could reproduce this on our end so it's definitely an issue. In order for us to report it though, we'd also need to include the current app versions of both your mobile & your desktop app.

Once we have this, we'll pass down the info backstage and this will get looked at 🙂

Many thanks in advance! We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

Sometimes pressing the Like Button at the bottom of the screen (now the + Button) doesn't add the song to my Liked Songs, or seemingly anywhere, but it does show a tick (indicating it has).

That button is meant to add the Song to Liked Songs by default, unless you select a different Playlist in the pop-up context menu. But this behaviour isn't happening in the Desktop App 100% of the time.

I just spent an hour liking new songs, only to realise afterwards my Liked Songs hasn't changed and some of the songs aren't anywhere to be found. I think this is a bug introduced with the update which added the Context Menu when Liking Songs.

Same thing happened to me just now, hopefully it gets resolved quickly

Here's a video of the Liked Songs not working properly on the Windows Spotify App. This is after logging out and logging in. It's also the latest version. The video shows me liking a song, and it lighting up green, and not actually saving. Multiple tries included.

I also open the Web Client after liking the song in the Windows Desktop App, the Web Client shows the same song as not liked. I show I'm signed in the same account on both. This proves this issue only happens on the Windows Desktop App.

Sorry for the quality, but there's a 5mb limit on videos.

I feel like this is an issue with the fact that there is literally no like button on desktop, seem like a simple UI fix by idk... adding a like button? xD
I have the same issues on my Desktop app, but if I add it to a playlist and then go to said playlist on my mobile app, I can add it to my liked songs playlist from there. Wierd bug lol.
