Can't play current song - error on desktop app

My Question or Issue

Clean install and all available troubleshooting tips does allow the Spotify desktop app to play anything. I always receive a "Can't play current song" message. What can be done? I have to resort to the web player every time.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

 

If this issue is occurring only with the desktop app and not the web player, it'd be best to check the sound output settings of the PC. Try changing them to see if it brings any change.
