Can't play the current song

My Question or Issue

Everytime I play a song it freezes and says "Can't play the current song"

That's odd.

Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

Been having this issue too.

I have tried logging out and logging back in.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version

I have tried installing older versions, because the new update might have been the problem.

None of these steps worked.

SOLVED. (For now)

Spotify support on twitter helped me out.

The solution was to delete any line in the hosts file with spotify as the adress.
