Can't play when charging and my laptop closed

Spotify won't play when I plug it in and close my laptop but when I unplug it and close it then it works please help I just wanna charge and close my laptop while listening

Can you try playing music on Spotify on the Web Player with your laptop plugged in to see if the issue still happens?

If you haven't already, it would be worth trying these steps to see if it makes a difference.

This is an issue related to powersettings in windows. You have to go to power settings and change the behavior when you close the lid.
