Can't save or un-save songs or albums

My Question or Issue

When I try to save or un-save albums or songs on desktop, the change is reflected on the song/album but not in my playlists or saved albums. When I go back to the album the changes I made are reversed.

Thanks for posting on the Community!

Just to check, does clearing stored cache make any difference? You'll also need to log out from the app and back in again afterwards, as completing these steps should resync your account info.

Also, does this only happen on your PC, or do you notice this behavior on other devices that you use Spotify on as well? How about on the Web Player?

If possible, you can give another internet connection a shot as well, should the issue persist. If you're using VPN on your device, make sure to switch it off, as it may interfere with the app performance.

This only happens on my PC, my phone and the web player seem unaffected. I tried clearing the cache and logging out but that didn't solve it. I'm not on a vpn and I don't have access to another network to test.

I just reinstalled the app and that seems to have fixed it.
