Cannot remove large number of songs from "Liked Songs" playlist

I have 2407 songs in the Liked Songs playlist in my account. I want to refresh this list, so I want to remove all songs. I tried Ctrl+A on the Windows Spotify App and delete, but I get the error: Something went wrong.
I suspect there is a limit to the number of songs you can remove at once, before the request gets too large. I am not planning on removing songs one for one or in batches. Spotify please fix this issue!

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

You most likely have local files in between those 2000+ songs you're trying to delete, which is preventing you from removing items in bulk and causing this error. What you can do is removing them first one by one or trying with a smaller batch that hopefully doesn't include local files.

You can identify local files in your Liked Songs by the slightly larger font size:
